Muscle Energy Technique
Muscle Energy is a technique that uses the isometric muscle contractions of the patient to relax and lengthen tight muscles and improve joint range of motion.

Ligamentous Articular Release
A technique that combines indirect and direct joint mobilisation with the release of deep ligamentous structures around the joints and fascia.

Position Facilitated Release
Uses an indirect approach to initiate direct joint mobilisation by resetting the neurological memory around the joints and fascia.

Still Technique
Created by Dr Still in 1890, this technique aims to restore joint and fascial motion. This is achieved by a specific indirect release followed by direct restoration of motion while the joint and fascia’s are no longer affected by the original restriction memory.

Counter Strain
Counter Strain involves releasing the joints and surrounding tissues by holding them in the position of most ease for at least 90 seconds.

Articulation
This is the direct mobilisation of joints and surrounding tissues into the restricted barrier.

High Velocity Low Amplitude (HVLA)
The joint is taken through its restricted range of motion with a high velocity, low amplitude thrust. Craig only uses this technique on rare occasions due to the success he has with other less forceful techniques.

Visceral
The gentle movement of the organs and the fascia connected to them to improve restrictions.
